Last week, we were lucky enough to attend the launch of the new ‘House of Heras’ Collection at Designer Rugs in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. Home of the latest and greatest homewares, Fortitude Valley is Brisbane’s Mecca of luxe designer Brands and styles.

In the heart of the bustling design district, Designer Rugs Wickham Street showroom is stocked with the must-have rugs from Australia’s most iconic designers.

In the Brisbane Designer Rugs showroom, Mira and Blair are on-hand to lend their expertise, and can help you with bespoke colours, sizes and shapes for that ‘one of a kind’ piece. Their service and knowledge are second to none, with options for home visits and take-home samples available too!

The launch of ‘House of Heras’ saw local designer Silvana Heras present her opulent collection of rugs, wallpaper, cushions, tablecloths and napkins and even some gorgeous shopping bags, each showcasing beautiful designs inspired by nature.

Whilst checking out the magnificent House of Heras designs, we caught up with Look Interiors Claire Ball and her partner, Peter Ball. With years of industry experience, Claire really knows how to create the ‘wow’ factor for that stunning first impression.
